Smart contract altcoins eternally BTFO

If you're holding ETH or any other smart contract shitcoin and are planning to hold long term: good luck and good riddance.

Off chain. What's wrong with that? Less congestion on chain. Off chain is the way to scalability. This makes it more private as well since the actual transactions aren't recorded unless you want to open or close a channel. On top of that, all transactions on LN have onion routing, so much more secure and anonymous.

i know there's a 1% chance anyone reading this has even dim awareness of the tech, but OP made me curious enough to take a look at the RSK website/blog/github
it's a bunch of brazilians literally copypasting ETH stuff
their tutorials are barebone and tell you to use Truffle, Remix, etc., the whole thing filled with misspellings and grammar mistakes
even Tron is unironically more advanced than this

>> No.12244224

The inevitable hubbing on the LN is also cause for concern. Basically forming centralized points of failure in the network.

At the end of the day no normie wants to have to be educated to use their money. LN with its separate layer of payment and liquidity is just complicating bitcoin even more than it is--- which is going to further hinder mass adoption.

This is just the beginning. Look up Casa node making things easier for normies. Also, the consumer/normie will just use a QR code and that's it. No normie knows the backend of email or TCP/IP but that doesn't stop them from using it.

It won't be as decentralized as the Bitcoin blockchain, but it's a turing complete virtual computer as a side chain to BTC, which enables smart contracts to take place on the Bitcoin blockchain. Unless ETH figures out its scaling and POS problems, something like this looks more promising.

It's literally a server run by RSK Labs. You can't even use it without accepting their terms and conditions.
They plan to 'decentralize' it eventually by splitting the nodes among several major companies.
Even eos is more decentralized.

It is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its contracts are also written in Solidity. The whole point of RSK is to implement smart contracts on BTC, why would they come up with a new language to code in and make it harder for ETH coders to code on the BTC blockchain?

They didn't fork ETH you retard. It's a turing complete sidechain that uses smart contracts on the Bitcoin blockchain. Do you retards not understand this? The gas used on RSK is 1:1 peg to BTC. It's not a competitor to BTC it is simply a way to make smart contracts on the BTC blockchain. All the coins you listed use their own blockchain, meaning they are doomed to fail in the long run.
