While you boys were beating off to your animaymays or dancing at Texas Road House, China has been doubling living standards every 13 years.

By contrast, the "free world" is growing so slowly that it will take 50 years for living standards to double. You will NOT experience a standard of living significantly better than what was available to working age adults while you were child until you are in your fifties. You WILL be nearing either a work-related death or retirement by the time you experience one cycle of the generalized economic gains on the scale the Chinese experience it-- for the brainlets out there this means your working life will almost be over by the time that McJob that you worked as a teenager or in your early twenties pays $14.50 an hour (real terms) instead of $7.25.

You and your offspring WILL be expected to share these teensy-tiny economic gains with millions upon millions of new Americans and new Europeans. The primary political battles of your lifetime will not be about sharing a pie of vertically-growing wealth, as it was in your grandfathers time, but a battle between ethnic/religious tribes all scrambling to get a greater slice of a pie that is only seeing significant growth horizontally--and getting smaller in absolute (not just relative) terms for some.

We already see it in differing political attitudes:
>To American tech worker: shut up you privileged white man! You need to hand over your job to Pajeet and Tyrone or take a pay-cut, bigot!
>To Chinese tech worker: Thanks for working very hard to help build our socialist paradise! Here's a cheer-leader to help you get through your day and reduce your stress :)

Ab-so-lutely fuckin BTFO. Capitalism was a mistake.

China and the developing world have a huge benefit in terms of economic growth.
That is that they have to "invent" anything, all they have to do is copy/implement western technology.

Since technology in a free-market system is not contained within borders, the difference between countries GDP per capita will eventually even out.
..and the only difference between countries will be in the form of wealth (inherited), and culture (business, society and governance).

>China and the developing world
You're thinking on this subject is already obsolete, informed by stereotypes that may have applied in 2003 or 2006 but no longer do. China only has pockets of true Third World poverty but while it is still developing it can no longer be called a Third World country--the long-forgotten term, "second world" probably works best.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2017/08/16/china-wage-levels-equal-to-or-surpass-parts-of-europe/#6279da183e7f
In just 13 more years it will probably be on the poorer end of the first world spectrum.

>That is that they have to "invent" anything, all they have to do is copy/implement western technology.
But in fact, they ARE inventing things. They are already number two in high-quality science.
https://www.herald.co.zw/china-surges-to-worlds-second-in-high-quality-science/

Really, Shenzen is the only serious competitor to Silicon Valley. Eurocucks are in such a sad state that they only have one readily recognizable tech start-up on the whole continent (Spotify) whereas the US has dozens and China already has a few.

>we'll clawback!
No, you won't. China's R&D spending is already above that of the Eurozone and the clock is ticking for when they will overtake the US. Add in the fact that it has been demonstrated that innovation/R&D takes place where there's industry.

Deindustrializing Western economies subsisting off their economic legacies and tech rents/financial power are setting themselves up for economic suicide. One day, neither the tech rents will be present as innovation stalls, and invisible income from finance and the offshore world will not be enough to hold up the living standards that Westerners are accustomed to.

Its already happened in the US where the minimum wage is already less today in a great number of states than it was in 1968.

Go to a drug store, how many of the drugs there do you think is invented in China - by a Chinese company? probably zero..

Look at the apps, digital media or the computer games you play.. how many of them comes from China?

It won't be China that makes space-travel affordable, or who implement self-driving cars which we will use. It won't be China that invents the next medicin against Cancer..
..but i wish it were, because any technological step toward will probably improve my life and the lives of the people i care about, if this is done in China, India or Africa, then great - who gives a shit where autonomous sex-dolls are invented, as long as they are invented.

as i said, unless you can buy stuff in a store for money, then it doesn't exist.
There are no self-driving cars - because you can't buy one, there are no autonomous sex dolls, because you can't buy it.
There are no lab-grown organs - because you can't buy it.

Every scientific discovery, medical breakthrough or flawless tech gadget, that you can't buy with money, doesn't exist.

I’m not sure what your actual point is beyond the whole boomer-tier argument that since you can afford a cellphone you can’t eeally be poor.

No one denies that the access of the poor to new goods with new use-values increases overtime even if their income stays completely stagnant or even falls.

What I am saying is that while your tap-dancing for Texas Road House hoping for a ten cent raise—Chang is expecting a near ten percent raise this year. And he’s not getting it because he worked hard or he’s especially talented. Even the salt of the earth wage-cuck NPCs in China are experiencing income raises that Americans only experience through job-hopping and/or credential attainment.

Chang maybe sell General Tsao chicken cooked in gutter oil for his uncle but the facts are he can do the same job for his entire working life of 60 years and expect to get a pay increase of 460%. He won’t have to bust his ass for promotions or bonuses to earn this pay increase.

If you tried a similar coasting strategy you would only experience an increase of about 100% over your working lifetime.

Imagine the opportunities then that would be available to someone who pursues the adventurous habits that American workers have adopted to try to stem (...but ultimately fail) their falling standards of living.

You may have a sex doll in the future but the sad fact is you’ll probably still be living in a shack if you were raised in a shack

Chang will probably have moved into a McMansion by then

there never came a hot war between soviet and the west, although plenty of reasons for it.
I don't think there will ever be a hot war between the US and China (Europe has to much trade with China, and will stay neutral in most cases).

Proxy and cyberwars between China and the US seems inevitable.

I hate to say it but what I outlined ITT really is the optimistic reading of the evidence. The past 40 years have really debunked the notion that real wages will just continually rise and never regress on their own.

A lot of jobs that paid well simply aren’t available for workers with the same standards of education as the past. Even manufacturing doesn’t pay as well as it used to even if it beats the hell out of a McJob.

The minimum wage has fallen in real terms even if you can buy video games that are unimaginably superior to what existed in the late 70s and 80s. There’s no reason to expect that wages will just rise on their own absent legislation to bring it about, immigration reduction and/or a major labor shortage. What we are experiencing is the closest thing to a general labor shortage in almost 60 years and it is still nowhere close to sending wages to the moon at rates similar to gains during the IR or in the 50s. Many discouraged workers haven’t even re-entered the labor market.

There’s no reason to expect that the average American’s financial prospects will just magically better absent a deep deflationary episode

Both the US and China has nukes.. they can't go into a direct war with each other. All it takes is a single US nuclear submarine to land a nuke in Bejing, and 20-30 million chinese will die.

if you add in a couple of more city-nukes on both sides, war is basically suicide.

You’re mostly right, the West committed suicide by becoming liberal and politically correct, originally brought on by Christian moral faggotry hundreds of years ago and later manifesting as feminism and multi culti. China doesn’t give a fuck about any of that so they’ll unfortunately be the leader of the world by 2050 and the West will devolve into some form of Brazil.

China is still poor.
They're never going to be innovative due to social credit which is being rapidly implemented. This is a temporary economic jump due to lax enforcement of regulations. They're going full psycho pass.
All true innovative ideas are disruptive, which means they are dangerous to powerful interests. What that's going to mean in China is very low social score, ie. innovative individuals are literally going to become unpersons.
Bureaucrats always think innovation is something that happens top down.
