Likely it's a decent time not the best time. Gold slid till under 1200 in the turbo bull market of early 2018 so that assuming no extreme circumstances is probably a good bottom. 2019 might be really bearish once layoffs start happening so gold will spike like 2011. Worse case we go full bull and you loose 7% short term but will definitely gain long term. 1270 is a nice buy price
