25 yr old - got a job in real estate private equity, this is my 2nd job after working as a bank teller for 3 years

I’m being paid 55k/yr working about 60 hours per week. Am I being jewed or will I be rewarded with patience?

I made $51,000/yr for exactly 40 hours per week + a free pension and 5% 401k match. You're being messed with mate 60 hours is insane.

Entirely dependent on your region and education.

I make a lot more but have student loans, a lot of education, and live in an expensive area. However I clock only 40 hours a week and my job is OK.

If you live in a low COLA and don't have a strong education (good degree/good school) then you might be just fine.

Also possible your workload will decrease once you figure your shit out if you're newish.

The real question is why you're posting a meme for 27 years old, but you're 25 yourself

I'm making 70k part time on the night shift. 32 hours per week.

It was my 28th birthday yesterday.

You're getting fucked. 60 hrs a week leaves you no time to do anything else and you're being paid less than a first year union plumber.

Well, this makes about $36.6k p.a. adjusted to a regular 40h job.

Depending on where you live and if the job offers you opportunities in the future, it is okay. If there are no opportunities and you live in an expensive area, you are being jewed.

>will I be rewarded with patience?

What you will be rewarded with within a couple of years is redundancy because the one industry that shits the bed in an economic downturn is real estate.

Use this time to retrain into IT.

>60 hours a week
You have no life.
