Wolfram Research retweeted NKN's announcement and it is confirmed. Advisory roles means they monitor the project and give ample suggestions on a consistent basis. It's not like IOTA "partnering" with Microsoft -- No, this is a direct, advisory role which was confirmed by both parties.

Advisors work something like this: Whitfield Diffie for example, another advisor associated with Cryptic Labs, reviews the project on a monthly basis with consistent updates. He is up there with Wolfram as being one of the fathers of computing, particularly public key cryptography.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but NKN is the real deal. And with 8 million market cap, and an ICO price of $0.14 while it's now at $0.03, I suggest you stock up now while this liquidity issue is still a problem. Once that is cleared up, you'll be truly sorry because the current losses you're butthurt over will feel that much worse.
