It has less to do with magic and more to do with simple finance principles. When the Jews left England, they took their capital, banking, and trade expertise with them. When the Jews returned to England, large numbers of them from Spain, they brought roughly 5 million pounds of capital with them. In 1600, that was a lot of money. English Jews were primary lenders to the Crown, and gained some of them official recognition for it. The story is no different in the modern world.

You can keep your fantastic conspiracies if you'd like, but you'd do better to just read a bit of economic history.
