How did I go from a shit job, to a good job?

First important part was using the first few months of my job to learn social nuance, people remembered my long hair, not my face or my actions, despite the fact that my enthusiasm and talent for closing was top notch and I quickly became a top performing salesman.

One day, I decided against my wifes interest (she liked the long hair) to get a faggy fade hairstyle, combed sideways you know the one. Two days later, I did a report to the sales manager who offered me a promotion on the spot for a job coming up in a couple days. He then went on to sack the current employee. He repeatedly commented on my hair and how professional i looked because of it.

Went on to do this for a few months, started working out, got bulky but would not say fit, took a client out for lunch, who asked me repeatedly if I am single blah blah, I led her on a little bit as I do not wear my wedding ring when I work, this led to a drunken call and a job offer later that week.

Went to work for her company as the head of procurement, tripled my earnings and basically just sat in my office buying shit on the company card, getting took out for lunch daily. I got called into HR almost daily for my antics, but the owner basically gave me a free pass.

Admittedly, me and my wife were unhappy in the UK, so we moved away, I dont speak the language and I am back at square one.

I have a job starting in the new year as an IT tech which I self studied for and will go from there, the point is, you make your own opportunities. Get out there and be something, dont sit at home being salty.
