I threw $500 of my poorfag money into a crypto exchange that I'm now 99% sure was a scam. I was looking for the next BNB
The exchange has been live for months now but looks basic as fuck, has about 30 cryptos, has basically no volume, no buyers and only maybe a few dozen successful trades across the entire site at best. Its native token lost over 90% of its ICO value, and is pretty much impossible to sell even at that low value because there are no buyers, only a bunch of lingering sell limit orders for it
I'm literally too ashamed to name the exchange because I know /biz/lets will look at it and roast me hard for falling for it

Went all in on MRPH (20k USD)
MRPH got attacked two days later, dipped 60% within hours. (no stop-loss in IDEX)
Was forced to hold since the chain was frozen, took months for the new tokens to get minted.
Mind you, these were the months alts crashed by 90%. Got 500$ now.

Let me put it this way: I've never seen the exchange mentioned on /biz/ before. Not once.
I thought I found some semi-hidden gem that maybe /biz/ was keeping quiet on to keep others from accumulating, while publicly fighting over whether Liquid or Coinmetro would dethrone Binance (I'm still holding both of those as well; at least those look far more promising long-term)
The exchange even had a team with pics/linkedin profiles and everything. Got good reviews from a few well-known ICO sites and everything

I bought some BCH, BCT, LTC, and ETC on Coinbase yesterday. Today I moved them into BCT and went to send them to binance but discovered the funds are "on hold" for another 14 days. I am now in crippling doubt about this whole thing. I was already feeling bad because 401k is going to dogshit and I'm on a long term plan.

Anyone top mine? Was around in 2013 when dogecoin launched and mined around 1 million (around 400 dollars worth at the time). Forgot about them.
Fast forward to 2017, sold all my doge for around 0.5 btc in 2017 just before it pumped to 4btc. Graduated college and got a stable job saving around $40,000 in a year. Bought $30,00 worth of shitcoins before the bull run, stored half on bittrex which got hacked (no 2fa) so RIP $15,000. Held the rest offline and watched my remaining $15,000 pump to over $250,000 peak value. Fell for the hodl meme and held these bags from $15,000 to $250,000 back down to $14,000.
Overall, since feb 2017 i've gone from a $30,000 investment to $250,000 back down to $14,000.
