A lot of my like-minded friends buy slightly too big suits at $300-$500 from Nordstrom Rack then take that shit to a tailor to get altered to fit their body. The fit is like 90% of what makes a suit look good, and if you don't lift it's worth starting before you invest in a suit. Having a V-taper helps you look good in just about anything, but you don't want to have to get your suit refitted.
