iexec and Golem have centralized work servers and are like a beta version of Holochain, you also can't host on them. Holochain has hosting and computations and is entirely p2p.

So the 5 year old version is "the internet as you know it decentralized" & "airbnb for your computer"
& "infinite scaling"

It also is completely it's own DHT based chain not just some at home software that you run to earn an ERC-20 token. There is so much more to it I can't spend the time to type it out at the moment. Holochain can do everything and is permission less. HOT is a token for hosting and compute on the network.
