I've battled a lot of existential dread man. I worked in SOF for several years and a lot of my friends have been shot, some killed, etc. Makes you realize what's important. Be positive to yourself, too often we call ourselves pieces of shit, etc. String together little victories to be proud of and focus on the positives, it sounds like a meme but for me that's the best thing.
