>2053 in performing surgery on a human being
That's probably the first thing on that list it'll do better than humans, not the last. Most humans are built about the same inside, easy to recognize organs/arteries/etc. Compared with driving trucks where you need a contingency plan for every gobshite random traffic event you can dream up, surgery should be a cakewalk.

Which is why brain surgery is simply a normal everyday thing to do. I mean... what can go wrong?

Everything you greentexted applies to brain surgery, yes. Not sure what you're trying to point out. Obviously it's still fucking hard and requires lots of testing first. My point is there are vastly fewer unknowns in a surgery theater vs. driving a truck out in the wilderness where literally ANYTHING can happen. You can take scans of the brain tumor/clot/whatever and feed them to the AI so it knows exactly where in 3D space the problem is, as well as all other bits of the brain, vessels, arteries, etc. The AI can literally have a complete, down-to-the-molecule map of the part of the body fed into it via scans before it starts, so that there are literally zero unknowns going in.

Meanwhile an AI driving a truck has to deal with other drivers, weather, mechanical issues, etc etc etc. An infinitude of possible random retarded shit happening that cannot be anticipated in advance and the AI has to improvise to not crash / crash in the least harmful way possible etc.

You vastly overestimate the obtainable knowledge from these scans.

And we dont even start with the robotics needed to do this...

We already have self-driving cars that kill and crash less often than human drivers. Find me an AI that has performed even one surgery on its own without any human intervention and minimal oversight.

lol no, surgery will come way faster, translation later, 'bestseller' also is easy one - it's about sales not quality, you could get one in less than a decade just on the hype that AI wrote a coherent story (some guy was even selling books written by computer program (not yet ai) on amazon couple years ago), not sure about high school essay - you can sorta got one right now using tech seo spammers created to mass producing blogposts

you may be right about timeline for driving the truck

also 'better than humans' is shitty metric, you can fool Turing test by writing chat bot that pretends to be stupid human, stupid non-ai bots are already better in shitposting on biz than most humans ever will
