If you're a handsome guy, would you be wasting your potential to go into something like engineering?

>> No.1205382

Not really. You can model on weekends. Outside of that all good looks get you is a little bit of luck, which isnt even a good chunk of the luck required for exceptional starting careers

That is, unless you are a girl

Why, how much more could I be making in the dick-sucking biz, Anon?

>>1205382
So much this. I modeled in Uni, but the male models were basically expected to work for free (they justify it with "but you're building your portfolio").

The only people who care how guys look are gay men. That's great if you're gay yourself, but for the rest of us it doesn't cut much water.

my handsome grandpa became the head manager of his department

plenty of people more skilled but he was intelligent tall and handsome and easy to work with

if i were as handsome and tall as him id be my own man instead of a company man though.

This. I'm apparently a moderately-highly attractive guy and all it really does is give you an edge over other people with similar qualifications. Sometimes (this is sort of rare) it has actually worked against me if a certain type of guy is interviewing me. Helps a lot with social situations and obviously with girls but not as noticeable in the professional world

>>1205329
As I said OP, you can't really bank on your good looks doing all the heavy lifting for you if you aren't naturally talented at something. If you are a good salesman then go for it, if you are attractive but a bad salesman don't do it.

>> No.1206172

Regardless of who you are, you're wasting your potential going into engineering.

>> No.1206212

>>1205329

yes.

handsome salesmen can rake it in.

spending time behind a desk would waste the money making potential there.

ya still need a little brains though.
