Unironically, in the ideal world, Chainlink tokens should be almost free and readily available to even the poorest of people in the world.

Think of people in Africa who have very destabilized monetary system, they could actually through decentralized oracle system trade money in constantly upgraded exchange and never lose their money to inflation which in Africa can in few hours mean too much for poor folk like them.

I want to see a world where people can change their assets in a decentralized manner from continent to continent without paying lawyers, executives etc.

Chainlink is not about making money you fucking neets, it is about connectin the world and making this world a better place to live. To make all people equal. I do hope Chainlink succeeds, and I do hope that in the future, the cost of Tokens will be so low that even the nations in the far east can afford millions of tokens with a less than 0,01$ contribution the network.

I want to see a world that Syrian refugee can pay for his trip to Europe from war zone through a smart contract and get his money back if denied sanctuary from these countries. This is what Chainlink will enable.

Just to clear this up, CL having value doesn't limit the functionality or accessibility of the network due to instant fiat on/offramps and stablecoins.
There will be financial limits on accessing certain API's as the data providers need to cover costs and make money. The CL token could be $1000 each where in this case you pay for thr data with 0.00001 tokens or it could be $0.001 each and you pay for that data with 100 tokens.
