1. The founders want to make "easy money", [...], entirely driven by extrinsic rewards and are therefore; in for a motivation sapping awakening.

2. The investors are impatient [...] When they don't receive the return they are used to, they will get antsy and start making the wrong decisions to "save their investment".

3. The founders do not have a clear understanding/idea of their companies competitive landscape and where they fit in that landscape. Why? They are mesmerized by the value they want to provide without seeing the reality which their customer/the person who determines their success or failure, exists/decides in.
