Girls are actors okay? Imagine us back on the savanna when we were still evolving up from our early primate ancestors. Girls who can pretend to love whichever guy is providing for them - either food or shelter or emotional satisfaction - will keep the guy longer. If they can play the part, they get the part, and when they stop wanting it it's easy for them to leave because it's just a part

The worst part is, they don't realize it's a part so their fickle whims make them feel no empathy for you when they leave you and in fact they will talk shit about you

>Why aren't millennials buying houses?
Urbanization means they don't want to live where real estate is cheap.

At least over here in Europe real estate prices skyrocketed while rental markets remained relatively stable due to rent control laws. That means where I live buying compared to renting amortizes on paper in 30-35 years and that's not even considering building maintenance. As a tenant you don't care if your roof is collapsing, that's the landlords problem. Even consumer interest groups start recommending renting, because it's just a better deal compared to crushing debt for three decades and huge risks.

Mobility means they don't want to tie themselves down for too long.

Job security is way down, meaning you can't rely to go to work in the same office building for the rest of your working life and you can't count on steadily increasing stable wages.

Families, marriages, child rearing are way down, so there's no need for spacious stable housing.

I'm building a landlord business and it fucking sucks. My networth is through the roof, but cash is hard to come by because rents are so low compared to the costs of everything. Profit margins are really hurting, so I can empathize with millenials opting to go for housing as a service compared to buying.

Just over 100k for this lovely cuck house in the middle of paki filled Rotherham. If you want your daughter raped, here's the place!

I'm 31 and have worked since 17. I still couldn't afford to buy this.. Without enslaving myself to the banks till I'm 60+, I couldn't even get a shitholes like this. /wrists.

Would you take out a mortgage on that? These houses are literally over 100 years old, built before ww1. Most are falling to bits. One sold for 80k down the street from me. They're now having to repair the roof after just 2 months.

The new houses they're building are smack bang next to the river, right where it floods..

yea in ontario there's only about a few dozen similar houses going for ~500k in my city and the market doesn't really open up until 800k
I don't understand the mentality of the people buying, they're going into debt for 1/2 of what they'll probably make in their whole life time and if interest rates go up they just get JUST'd

renting out some rooms is the only way it would work and even then you're losing $500/month on the mortgage alone, not to mention property taxes and upkeep, you don't win unless you can convince enough chumps to pay 30% over the market's rent rate.

>> No.11982777

Just bought a first house for £200k. Feels good. Mortgage repayments are about £850. Its the same as we were paying on rent before.

Considered holding out to see if the market crashed. Decided to buy anyway. If a crash comes, we will hopefully be in a position on buy a second house for cheap by then (unless it happens really fast, really soon).

fuck this bullshit. fuck you, central banks. fuck you, politicians. fuck you, boomers. honestly just take away the social safety net, let it all collapse. let them be unable to retire and let them fucking die. I know it won't happen and truly I don't really blame them as much as I pretend to because they're too stupid to know what they have done. only the high IQ masterminds that engineered this, the small portion of politicians that know wtf is going on, and the turbokikes (the metaphorical kike, not literally necessarily jews)... they should be hanged for crimes against humanity.

efficiency of labour has increased perhaps twofold since the 70s, but wages are almost the same, only loans have gotten easier to get, with lower interest. that's fucking it. it's easier to be a slave to loans for 50 years. fuck the whooping do. bloody revolution when
