Help me understand this.

People are buying holo gas that will be used in the future by developers for hosting happs or perhaps hosting websites etc.

People get gas by running a holoport or software.

If the price of gas goes up due to use, at a point it may become more cost effective to use traditional aws etc. Additionally, why would developers want to make happs when they have to pay for hosting when on Ethereum, the customer pays to use the app?

Finally, can't happs elect to use different currencies on their platform?

The economics of this doesn't seem right. If it is sucessful it kills itself because gas becomes too expensive. I know there is inflation from holoports but for how long?

Honestly though, I'm willing to bet Holochain is going to just decimate most shitcoins. Anything billing itself as a utility token for general use dapps, outside a few of the core ERC20s like 0x or Maker etc are just totally obsoleted by Holo, and therefore Holofuel. Plus PoW is insanely wasteful, Holonodes etc are a much better design.
