Ok faggots, I will explain to you why Chainlink is as close to god we will get

Everything humans have ever known and will know is a product of peer-review.
There is no such thing as objectivity, only subjectivity. How can I be sure that what I'm seeing objetively is what I think it is? The only way for me to truly know is to compare my observation with other subjects. This is what you would call intersubjectivity. With enough intersubjective comparison, we can arrive at a form of higher order objectivity. Divinity.

This is exactly what Chainlink aims to do. With the decentralized oracle network spawned by Chainlink, we will be able to ask any question and receive a reliable and truthful answer. Like a god. This can either be to get data from an API, the result of a computation or a plain simple question. "Who is the president of the USA?"

It is called an oracle network not because its a basic API relayer, but because you in theory can ask the oracle about anything and it will respond with the correct answer. Chainlinks adaptability will allow us to extend it to do whatever we want.

This form of objectivity is very useful for decentralized computations (smart contracts) but also for everything else. The point Im trying to make is that it is impossible to know anything without cross-checking it with others (as explained in the first paragraph).
Chainlink has use-cases outside of just providing trustful data to smart contracts, but that is where its most needed and will be most impactful.

All forms of decentralized computing (permissioned and permissionless blockchains) will need this type of higher order objectivity (pure and validated truth), if not it will just be a self-contained sandbox for moving tokens back and forth.

Thats one use case.

However, you cannot rely on a single entity to parse the JSON correctly. There will be an incentive to lie about the JSONs content.

Therefore we need decentralized JSON parsing for the decentralized computation. You cannot feed unreliable, centralized parsed information to a decentralized computation.

There is no such thing as a JSON btw. Only JSON objects, but Im sure you understand what I meant

I'm just going to very casually drop this here and you should just ignore this.
