Eh not really... SV is now like almost 1 million exahashes behind BCH. Even if BCH stopped mining entirely then it would take SV like 3 days to catch up.

this is the crux of the split. One company's business model is making alt-coin ASICs, running exchanges, and creating WormHole tokens...
And the other believes in the ideology of Bitcoin and wants to bring scalable cash to the world.
Alt coins will burn.

>> No.11878926

Doesn't change a thing, you don't understand how any of this works. The chain with the most accumulated proof of work doesn't magically overwrite the other chain. They're split, and they will remain split and mined separately for as long as they are mined at all, period.

That's complete nonsense.
They both want the same thing, one is just run by incompetents who can't actually understand what is necessary to acquire that thing, and thus run full tilt at a wall with the obvious predictable results.

I wish BSV wasn't staffed by insane ignorant blowhards, so instead of just ABC and BU there was a third team in on the discussions and offering useful input to bring to reality the vision everyone claims to want, but one party is doing an awfully good job of failing hard at.
