Im a big fan of TA but EW is so fucking subjective that it makes it pointless. Its the equivalent of looking at ink blots in a psychiatrists office and seeing the images you want to see. its a little hard to say where wave 5 will land, it could fake out to the bottom giving you around 3.8 or 3.9 or it could truncate staying above 4k-4.1k. it could also just break out right now and the 5th wave has already been made without it being to obvious yet.

On the 15minute I believe its doing its 1st wave of wave 3 (wave 1 would be a smaller timeframe wave) some shit with ii and whatnot I haven't really bothered with the appropiate documentation for this

and i just missed ETH because i was too focused on the lower time scale

although i always am confused when waves 4 and 1 overlap.. apparently it's ok for wicks to overlap in highly leverages speculative markets but when you look at them at low time frames they look like theyre overallping more than just the wick

so idk if that really counted as confirmation for eth or not tbqh

all these rules are nonsense man, EW behaves entirely different troughout different markets. Try doing the same to Forex, you'd get REKT. Commodities especially usually move in 3 waves instead of 5. EW is highly subjective and you shouldn't expect it to be a one size fits all

What have we learned from ETH in the last 2 hours? Well.. for starters, it is TRUE that leading diagonals may have intersecting 1st and 4th waves. In fact at the lowest time scales may see even more variance and intersecting 1st and 4th waves.

It's scary though using confirmation of a wave that is "breaking the rules." I guess that's just where experience and intuition comes into play.
