Ethereum is back. Bitcoin is obsolete and dead. What you are seeing is a mining crisis happening in bitcoin. Nothing to do with the “hashwar” big miners are going out of business. They are dumping their coins to pay bills and then next year the mtgox coins are released.

Even though Ethereum has crashed too, and a lot of the ERC20 fundraising is being dumped by scams there are actual good pieces of infrastructure arising out of the investment. Ethereum has:

Chainlink
Sidechains
Usdc
Dai
Augur
Lots of weird and wonderful DEXs
Still the best platform for trustless ICOs

And now there are more direct fiat on ramps for ETH there’s no need to buy bitcoin first to buy ETH. The last bullrun was caused by ETH and the next bullrun will be caused by ETH.

Bitcoin is dead it’s a nuclear wasteland now being picked over by pajeets trying to pick up pennies in front of a steamroller.

and why you doubt that ETH wouldnt drop below $ 100 ?

ETH has constantly going downwards, and look like continue doing so

so $ 100 is so close now already, when ETH is now $ 125

and if/when ETH hits $ 100, then that might triggered some big selling because its so big psychololigal price thing if ETH sunk below $ 100

It's all about BTC in this bear market we are now in. Every high altcoin pump and dump is just following BTC: There must be a very big news about ETH, but even the upgrade to ETH 2.0 did not respond in a bullish trend and just follows the dump of BTC.
We will see the massive support at 50$. If this also breaks, we see very soon 10-20$.
There might be a small chance if BTC is going to be in a dead flat line several weeks, that ETH is taking over, but don't bet on this 1% chance.

I actually agree. What can BTC do that ETH can't? Nothing.

ETH seems to be the only thing that developers are actually building on top of. Everyone in tech that I talked to thinks that ETH is much better than BTC. Businesses are actually trying to test out and use ETH.

I wouldn't even be surprised by the time the next bullrun hits that crypto begins to operate closer to a stock market, and less like how it does today. IE, you won't see one "stock" or crypto in this case, determining the entire momentum of the market. There will be more on ramps for FIAT to crypto and no one will buy BTC. People are going to be much more interested in technologies built on top of ETH.

Bitcoin has nothing but first mover advantage, and it came rediculously close to losing that 2x already in the past bullrun. I'd be very surprised if it isn't flipped soon.

>What can BTC do that ETH can't? Nothing
When we talk about a world currency its more about believe, not about real use-cases. If Bitcoin fails, then ETH can take over. But before there will be a huge flat line of the whole crypto market for years. I wish reality is different, but its most only about believing and marketing. Bitcoin was first, has the Satoshi story and everyone knows it. Most media even use it as a term for cryptocurrency. Unfortunately.

there is a lot of pessimism in the market.... Bitcoin can go to 3000-3500 US$ but can not see it going down further! Today the marketcap is at 139,207,215,592US$, and BTC dominance is at 54%! I do not believe this will change soon....
