Welcome brothers. If you are new buying LINK and have any questions, ask in this thread.

I hope every anon that has been with us on the LINK train this past year joins in on this thread aswell. With this project becoming more and more popular, more people are joining us every day.

All are welcome here. There is no such thing as a stupid question. Come ask and join us on one of the most lucrative investment opportunity most of us will see in a lifetime.

When mainnet?

>> No.11844126

This is going to be one of the hardest dumps on main-net and the project will basically fail because people will never use it for anything other than to PnD, which will completely fuck the tokenomics and make the whole thing useless. Sergey will realize this and just disappear along with the rest of the team. SWIFT and co will realize this, and begin to quietly remove any references they have to this embarrassing experiment which - who knows, might have succeeded if it wasn't for the retards who infest this place and run painfully obvious shill and fud campaigns. Many of you will experience the kind of hopium crash which actually kills people, and I suppose suicide is a fitting reward for some of the more smug retards who clutter up this board, but I hope it isn't all of you. There will be no more memes, no more dreams of lambos or whatever NPC tier 'rich person's car' you've picked out in your imagination as you're left in the dirt holding a bunch of link bags. Even a fraction of the money some of you invested in link could have helped you make it during the next bull-run in a legitimate project. Imagine that. THAT is what you should be visualizing. Not your stupid fucking holiday home, not your imaginary future "faithful" gf / wife, nor an early retirement where you don't need to toil away at menial tasks for your betters from inside your 9-5 existential prison cell - you should instead be visualizing yourself scraping together what little money you have left in the wake of your devastation to try and ride something like BAT or Holo up, and your dream of MILLIONS OF DOLLARS suddenly becomes a much more realistic 100k-200k at most. I mean it's not bad - more than you intellectual runts probably deserve. You'll all see I was right. I always am.

How do you verify that RNG data going into an SGX node will be sufficiently random? The SC owner only has visibility of the code being executed, not the source.

>> No.11844294

>>11844248
Ah, the hard hitting question. I wish I could give a better answer but its not fully known as no one has the available information to fully answer that question. Intel SGX is still young and we dont know if its completely trusted. I cant tell you with certainty that any sort of number generation is sufficiently random. Its part of speculating on this technology.

Which I could give a better answer but instead of feeding you bullshit I gave you the truth.

The random number will come out of the enclave, and you can verify that the enclave is running the correct rng program via cryptographically signed attestation. One of Serg's most recent talks covers this.

I'm talking about the cases where you don't trust SGX's in-built hardware RNG, because there are currently very serious discussions about its randomness.

If you want to use other sources like nuclear decay, a wall of lava lamps or a lady with a bingo machine, you won't have any way of verifying the randomness of the data input.

The only solution I can think of is to just use a large number of nodes, and hope that if any of the sources are breached then it won't impact the randomness enough to let someone crack your key.

It's a serious problem, but honestly I think the network is strong enough to handle it through aggregation and the reputation system. If I run a node, then it'll probably be for RNG.

I'm sorry you're confusing me.
If you're asking about "blockchain" in the conventional sense like bitcoin, then all transactions in a 15(?) minute time period is collected into a "block" and all the transactions in the block are hashed out.

it depends. With proof of work coins like Bitcoin, monero, litecoin etc. they are all operating on their own separate blockchain, and you have to prove work in the network by allocating cpu/gpu energy.
There are proof of stake coins/tokens that operate differently, where you have to prove your stake in the network.

A project like LINK is not a "blockchain" project like bitcoin. You do not hash or mine new coins and it doesn't exists for the sole reason of currency to be spent. Its simply a protocol to allow the delivery of safe data on smart contracts. I could go on but you would have to understand smart contracts, which deal in the same market as blockchains, but fundamentally different from a blockchain.

your entire question is subjective. Is 10k enough to make it? No one here can predict the future, and making it is defined by your own terms anyways.
>what is the smallest amount most of you would be comfortable holding?
Who knows your financial situation? I would suggest accumulation but not liquidating every asset you own to buy more, nor would i ever suggest taking out a loan to buy link. Buy the amount you're comfortable with losing should things go south.

Imagine being so fucking egotistical you have to put your personal mark on a meme. Imagine not being able to compute that a meme is something you release into the wild to survive on its own, and the whole point is that it's not attached to a single person or entity, but rather a part of the collective memetic commons.
Imagine being that narcissistic and self involved. Imagine using a fucking chat room with avatar pictures and muh names and muh identity and still pretending you have any superiority over plebbitors, whose entire failing is that muh karma and muh recognition is innately inferior to the neutral battlegrounds of anonymity.
Discord faggots are the ultimate 105ers. Superiority complexes mixed with absolute mediocrity and a desperate, all consuming urge for identity, ego, recognition and validation.
Literally worse that plebbitors, holy fuck what a life.
