That was a speculated attack vector of indeterminate form that was being Saber rattled to force nchain agenda prior to Nov 15 upgrade. ABC called the bluff and put in superior hashpower and it failed utterly. SV has nothing but bullshit.

EGS has connections to some very interesting technologies and ideas.
I am interested to see if it is going to be a battle of ABC + new tech vs SV + locked down core or if SV will adopt the new tech too.
Right now ABC seems the ones who are more willing to make changes to their code.

Also interested to see if any news coins will rise up to challenge both now that there is a split.
Whoever can scale first will win IMO.

EGS talks about BloXroute and Avalanche from time to time which seem like two interesting ways of increasing scale on cryptocurrencies.
Whether they are 100% legit or not I am unsure, but the whitepapers are exciting.

If they are legit, and SV adopts them, then it is game over.
If they are legit, and ABC adopts them, then things will get very interesting.
