Dab Edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

>it's the Trump economy now!!!
>ORANGE MAN BAD!
>Obama save us!!

Then people realized fundamentals ARE strong, markets rallied to new highs, and King Nigger tried to take credit for the upswing.

Markets don't just "crash" suddenly. 2008 was a year of steady decline (i.e. No record highs) until the final turn in October 2008. Even the 1929 downturn took 3 years to fully materialize.

I see no reason for the market to flop, unless Trump basically goes full ham and declares war on China. Which I'm okay with too, fuck China.

Is it fair to make comparisons of Bitcoin vs. Stocks?

I have very little knowledge of both BTC and the stock market, but I check on Bitcoin occasionally out of curiosity for Crypto.

I see people using quotes, charts, and past cycles of stocks to attempt to describe what Bitcoin goes through.

What are the fundamental differences between them?

Hey Faggots,

My name is Jerome Powell, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are poor, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day looking at stupid ass charts. You are everything bad in the the economy. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any dividends? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of their poverty, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than buying Big 5 at $9.50.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I am Chair of the Federal Reserve, and hand picked by Trump. What investments do you make, other than "jack off to naked drawn Japanese people"? I also get mad gains, and have a banging hot girlfriend (She just did some technical analysis; Shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

Get rekt faggots, I'm 25% equities now after scooping up more Apple near the lows today. Ill continue buying into this market. If the SP500 drops 70%, I'll be leveraged long in equities (150% or so). I've got buy orders on a host of value stocks I've been tracking for months/years. Will continue to add as the market declines.

My tip to you niggers, be careful of companies with shitty balance sheets. The market doesnt yet realize how quickly and badly fundamentals can turn for many stocks when you have to roll over debt. Most companies are being managed in a way where their debt acts like floating rate debt. That means they only pay interest and expect to roll it over.

Only buy companies with high margins and pricing power if they have substantial debt. Otherwise, they wont be able to pass borrowing costs onto consumers. For example, a company with lots of debt, but pricing power is AT&T. The debt is much safer to creditors because AT&T has a bunch of local monopolies. Tons of areas only have one ISP and they can pass their costs to consumers who will need internet even in a recession.

Don't really think this was because of the Democrats, the market was seeing lots of volatility and had already dropped negative YTD before the election a few times. I'd wait till it hit least $5 before buying. The potential upside is thus:

Spinoffs; you'd be getting shares in any Spinoffs GE does. I know of 4 that is planned right now.
These spinoffs have the potential to be bought or turn a profit on there own.

GE itself; may turn itself around and start raking in the profits or it may be bought outright due to the brand name.
It may not be a bad idea to bag some BHGE shares as well. Yes GE owns them and you'd therefore own B.H if you buy GE but GE has sold part of there ownership stake so once that's done GE will only own like %51 of B.H. Still a controlling interest but a much smaller one. (62.3 % now)

This isn't panic territory just yet. Stuff has to happen to confirm. If the February support breaks it'll be potentially worse than 2008. I think this scenario is very unlikely without a BIG catalyst.

Really though the key to having loads of Cash when you retire is to start early as possible. Then every pay check transfer X amount into 401k/savings/brokerage accounts automatically. That way you never miss it and you can focus on other shit. That's what I did; when I started at my current job in 2005 I got into the company 401k plan + reg pension . Every check X amount goes into it. Then I told my bank to auto trans X amount into my savings each month. I just now started my brokerage account about 1 month ago but I do it the same; each month X goes into it.

https://www.bridgestorecovery.com/blog/understanding-bpd-emotional-manipulation-techniques-and-how-treatment-can-help/
>A person with BPD could function, when symptomatic, only in the world where everybody loves her like her own mother, unconditionally and patiently. Of course such a world will never exist and thus BPDs with their enormous, unfulfilled needs of love and affection will forever remain frustrated and angry, and resort to behaviors which are misunderstood as ‘manipulation.’
>In other words, what is perceived as manipulation is, in fact, a desperate attempt to cope with the overwhelming fears of abandonment and rejection that sit at the heart of borderline personality disorder.
