ethereum isn't unvervalued, because its valuation like everything else comes directly from bitcoin, but you can be sure ethereum is never going anywhere, given that its the only alt to ever break out from all the others, and actually become a network that over 9 out of 10 coins that don't use their own blockchain are dependant on. that's never going away, just like bitcoin is never going away.

sure its used for a lot of shit right now, but so is bitcoin, its mostly exchange speculation, and in the past on-chain gambling. that doesn't mean anything, because as long as it has captured the users and developers (which btc/eth has done, nothing else has come close to either yet) those networks will always evolve to whatever the users/devs want them to evolve to, even if it seems unfeasible.

second layers to these fee based networks end up just like bittorrent, or even the internet. there is no fee, or the fee is so small that it can be subsidized. the point s that these networks are all secured by the fee based network, that's all.

Second layers are easily the worst idea fucking ever conceived in the world of crypto. Why does it matter if you have a base layer to fall back on? Its fundementally identical to using another coin. You cannot slice this logic any other way. If you need another layer then you probably just need to buy a new fucking coin.

End of fucking story.

Also you still have no reason to even think its going to 10x. Use cases do not make coins go up in value like ponzi scams do. Use cases will cause crypto to stabilize a lot more like the stock market. You have no reason to think 10x is on its way even if ETH gets a killer dapp with millions of active users. That shit never worked for steem so its not going to work for any coin honestly.

No, we cannot allow crypto to go back to ad based mediums. Otherwise POS coins will dominate even more because they run ad free dapps. Here is what will happen with ETH. Most of the bigger dapps will adopt multi coin functionality. People who prefer making pintrest posts and pay the upfront cost can easily do it. They just need to make a transaction with a memo that points to an IPFS hash. That is literally all ETH needs to do in order for it to effectively post images and videos.
