I feel like crypto in general is going to move away from treating Satoshi's words like the fucking bible, considering there are far more flexible uses for it. Bitcoin is stuck in its brand name, forever not being used as cash, but as a crypto antique that you might hold for status. It will be the ONLY coin to be valuable simply because it's rare and the first of its kind.

The actual use coins will not be bitcoin.

It was pretty obvious this was going to fail. If this were to be done properly it should have been done the way BCH originally split from BTC, clearly laying out the case for why the path the BTC team was taking is flatly wrong, and saying in order to preserve the provably correct and original roadmap, their minority chain will be abandoned and all mining will happen on the new chain only. If it comes right down to it, they should have been the ones forced to fork away.

This.
Also, it's possible Craig was/is playing another angle - to force BTC hashing power across to BCH post-BTC's difficulty adjustment.
I don't think Craig is Satoshi (zero evidence and evidence doctored) but I don't think he's a complete moron in every respect. If Blockstream (or Alphabets via co-option when his house was raided in 2015), I'd expect them to execute this with a little more tact.
From an Alphabet's viewpoint, if BCH did become the predominant crypto, it'd probably further weaken the US's economy while strengthening China's. Bitmain's holding of BCH was near 1M - that's approx 1/17 of the available supply. Add to it that they probably also control more hashpower (and the means of producing that hashpower), there's good reason why Alphabet's would need to get involved in the crypto scene. Russia's exchanging USD reserves for Gold. It signals that something is incoming.

Jihan didn't betray anyone
He set up the fork to actually happen which is what they wanted all along.

They WANTED the BCH/BTC split because it gave them a whole year to accumulate more coins.
They are doing the exact same thing right now.

Honestly they keep talking about 'hard money' 'no inflation' but then they keep splitting the coin and deceiving people in order to accumulate more and more of it.

This is probably the last time though.
Maybe
Who knows

Same playbook tho
Their rationalization about this is that 'bitcoin is an iq test'

mmm
we will see what happens
but this hashwar has left a bad taste in my mouth
its not a real war
its just miners and whales getting richer again

Look at Jihan he has 1,000,000 BCH right now
Who knows how many BCHSV he will have whe this is over

They wanted this split
They wanted the last split

It's all just a game to them
You can do a few things

1) Follow
2) Do nothing
3) Lose

But either way, its still a game and you're still getting played

>Jihan
As someone who has actually spoken with Jihan and knows his motivations, all I can say is it's pretty hilarious nobody on SV side understands him at all and treats him as such a boogeyman.

Here's a fun factoid: Jihan did not contribute not a single hash to defending ABC.

It wouldn't matter even if he did or didn't
They are all working together to accumulate more coins
Its that simple

First there was just Bitcoin
It was released in esoteric internet corners so that only smart people could get some
Then it got too popular and too many retards got rich

Then they split BCH/BTC and made it so that only smart people understood the difference
They spent a year accumulating more and more and keeping the price low to let smart people accumulate

Then they created a fake hashwar between ABC/SV (which are both controlled by the same group from the top, the government).
Only smart people are supposed to understand that SV is the winner, and this gives smart people mroe time to accumulate yet again.

Miners and whales are greedy, look at the game they are in, and the struggle they are having to stay profitable, they will always do whatever they can to get more coins, even if it means this.

But make no mistake, they are all completely controlled by the same group at the top.
Its a chess game where there is only 1 player and everyone else getting played.

f
But it is useful to realize this, to understand the futility of caring, because this is exactly how the world itself has been run for thousands of years.
Enjoy.

Roger wants to free the world of authorities, Craig shits on anarchists and wants to kill all coins except his own, Jihan wants a bunch of coins because he makes money by selling miners, they have different motivations, Roger and Craig aren't only guided by profit though, at some point it doesn't matter that much whether you're worth 50 billions or 500 billions

They are all just different characters in the show appealing to different fan groups

Roger: appeals to libertarian anarchist types
CSW: appeals to Trump chan types
Jihan: appeals to business sense and asians

Like I said they are all controlled from the same group at the top: the government

take this redpill and learn to enjoy your own life instead of keeping up with the machinations of others.

Bitcoin is going to form part of the backbone of the new financial system for the world.
You thought this would be left up to chance?
Oh btw, every single transaction can be traced and the blokchcain means that they will exist forever.
Good luck.

Yeah, the fuckers he was sent to prison because he called out are definitely pulling his strings. He puts up with endless amounts of bullshit in the space acting as a puppet because of his endless dedication to said puppetmasters. He for sure loves big brother.
This is the exact opposite of the truth. Everything he has ever said or done is 100% in line with his being a genuine anarchocapitalist who wants to see the state and central banks of the world destroyed. Nothing doesn't fit with that at all. And when you hear that washed up fuckhead wright talk about him, he even says exactly that.
Ver has been one of the most consistent and reliable figures in crypto. For those of us who want to destroy the state, he is a useful schelling point to responding to complex minutae given that perspective.

I'm not complaining or saying its a bad thing
Did you see what the BCH community looks like? Its a bunch of young idealistic kids
If they ran BCH for real it would die

This is the only way
I'm just trying to open your eyes
idk if thats possible tho

Or maybe he was connected since young
who knows

I'm not saying hes lying

I am speaking metaphysically of course. Dead in their capacity as parasitical aggressors on the rest of humankind. Not dead literally. But while we keep resorting to physical war as a dispute resolution mechanism, humanity is in at constant risk of self annihilation, which is an existential threat.
This is the real promise of cryptocurrencies, and I am glad to see the hash war between ABC and SV produced a clear and indisputable winner. It speaks well of this method for dispute resolution without recourse to physical violence in the future.
