I have a similar story. I order a 20 piece chicken mcnugget meal the other day and requested 5 ketchup packets. I got home and found out that they only put 2 ketchup packets in my bag.This ruined my whole day.

Granted that the mcdonalds is unique in its high acidic ketchup, but if you're taking your meal home then just use your own ketchup. No big deal. My situation was much worse as there was no salt on my fries and if you've ever eaten fries with no salt, they taste like literal used tampons.

You must've been somewhere else. Usually all fries are salted you can watch them do it.
The real asshole move is to request fries without salt so you know that they're going to be fresh if you're willing to wait, then when you grab your order ask for packets of salt.
