>all the centralised coins are pumping
even though i hold xrp and eos, this is actually pretty bad for crypto. it sets the precedent that decentralisation/libertarianism isnt valued in the market.

despite the fact thats the main use case for distributed tech. without censorship resistance then what is the point of all of this? why not just use hsbc or another bank (even though theyre slow as shit, it would be trivial to upgrade themselves and be 10000x faster and cheaper than any crypto).

Well when "decentralized" proof-of-work cones end up having endless forks and gay little hash wars suddenly the consensus algos behind "centralized" cones looks more attractive.

Fortunately for us we’re in the early era of the crypto revolution so that we whomst stare into the abyss have the opportunity to make a 4chan. Oops I mean fortune. It’s our duty to will these protocols into the mainstream for posterity sake. If can’t see that far ahead you’re probably impotent.

Come to the dark side fren. Surely you know XRP has better censorship resistance the bitcoin?

They'll lose in the end when decentralized platforms find a way to scale. I actually think we'll start to see it happening even in q1 2019, but it depends if X deliver.

The "decentralized" platforms can only scale by giving up more security. Not a good idea when they are already weak in that regard. Just listening to Vitalik sing the praises of cryptoeconomics should be enough to make anyone short Ethereum.
