I'm pretty sure /biz classifies any dapp on NEO as a chink scam regardless of the ethnicity of the developers or the geographic location of operations. NEX literally has zero chink and it's continually shelved as a chink scam.

I don't think there's anything really wrong with NEO but the fact is the emperor has been shown to have no clothes and it has nothing to do with the chinese government, which drove a lot of the hype. It's not some specially placed blockchain like people speculated. It's just another dapp platform focused on games now and really has no reason to be as highly valued as it is.

Also the security nature of it and GAS make it such that it's more challenging for Americans to hold and American exchanges to support, partially cutting out an important part of the market.

as a platform neo is more used and valuable than eos is. let that sink in.

ethereum is still 20-25x more valuable than any other platform, but neo is well ahead of every other competitor after it, and with ethereum only growing i dont see any other platform catching up with either as decentralized exchanges for one become critical.

The way I see it, the first "ecosystem" to have functional, desirable blockchain based gaming, will win, whether or not it's the best in an idealist sense. I'd prefer Ethereum to win at everything, but it seems like there are some contenders that might beat them to the punch. NEO in particular might win the games arms race, for example. They also have an extraordinary reach, marketing, blah blah blah, so regardless I'm sure they're here to stay. The only question is how much they'll accomplish and if they can beat other projects to a punch or not.

They likely have fuck all to show for the mass liquidation of NEO and have misused funds propping up other projects that the founders traded in.

It is more than likely that they have a few million to keep the zombie walking just in case a bull run makes the releasable part of the supply worth it, but beyond that they are expecting the community to pull them along with zero incentive for the best community members to not cut rope and run their own operations. NEX just took the lead of CoZ and NEX and every other successful DApp is hedging ETH.
