1. So I understand that a % of link that isn't in circulation will be used to pay out for node operations, I'm confused as to how staking after all of these tokens portioned will be paid out. Will there be a set margin that node operators charge?

Don't fall for it, chainlink its a meme to fuck you over. Consider this for chainlink at current price to reach $1 you need an increase of 700% or a 233% increase every month until EOY.
