can you go to colleges and just sit in on lectures if you havent paid for college?

i want to learn but dont want to pay... i dont need the certifications, i just want to be able to learn from professors etc. at cambridge

I go to some shit tier technical institute in Boston. Sometimes I go sit in at MIT lectures to feel smart. Just buy a school backpack and no one gives a fuck
