M1 just automates everything. You can set up a pay schedule to deposit money into the portfolio and M1 automatically buys sticks that youre underweight in, this makes dollar cost averaging and dividend reinvestment automatic and super simple.

I use both, but most of my money is in M1 finance. My fuck around account is Robinhood.

To win with buying options you have to correctly predict movement prior to volatility shifts. This means you cant buy them week to week and expect to win unless some major news event has just happened for the company and the markets are closed.
