Info for those interested in futures trading. Always a good market to trade when other shit is going sideways.

Be careful with big indexes (russell is a great one to start with) and curde oil.

The nice thing about futures are the near 24/7 trading, good leverage and some even have options. There are no daytrading limits and the tax exposure is better.

Just be cautious not to trade on margin as you'll blow your account real easy if a large gap occurs and you dont have good stop losses.

No. Or not in the boomer style of pension fund contributions and such. I used to pay in to a pension fund at an former wageslavery. When I left I wanted to cash it out or at least put it in an investing account so I could trade with it, but government rules say not allowed unless the amount is less than a certain small number. So it's stuck in a locked IRA for the moment and I'm not permitted to mess with it until I'm 50 or the law changes.
