I had one done in February. Pain can linger for a while. I still have some occasional pain, just mild soreness. You still blow loads, and I've found mine is a little more watery after getting it. I encourage everyone considering it to really do their research. Overall I'm happy with it, and it's normal to still have unpleasant sensations for a year or two but the peace of mind can't be overstated.
