I like to use the example of a sports bet. When you are betting with somebody, you gotta fill the contract manually after the match which means the person lost could for example fraud it (as it's manual). With chainlink , the outside data of the real world (team A wins) will be recognized in the contract and the reward will be immediately executed (like a soda vending machine that immediately released the soda after you give it 1 buck).
