How long did it take you to realize link is not a meme?
After that revelation, how long did it take you to realize that it is a meme and why that is a good thing?

during December last year when BTC mooned and LINK shot to ~1.50 i was so excited and i remember feeling afraid because of how much money i made that night. never did sell because hodl for 1k eoy. people say i should have sold because now ive lost blah blah blah but in reality i saved my investment for a whole year. i have that money secured. now all ive to do is sit tight and enjoy the memes and conferences Sergey speaks at. its all very surreal. were living in exciting times.

The worst part about it not being a meme is when you try to describe it to anyone, giving piles and piles of information, graphics, use cases, partnerships, etc. and they don't listen because they think Bitcoin is over and never going to have any real world implications. "Blockchain is just a pyramid scheme, doesn't have any real value."

Imagine thinking fiat is the only thing with value, rather that is has value at all.
Why won't they listen? Do they want to be poor?

I didnt get into link because of biz, biz showed me the way, but then made my own research, also it was weird that chainlink started by being FUDDED in here. it wasnt shilled back in dec-jan, i remember people spewing on it all the time. was intriging to see people be so passionate about link. that's what made me look into it, and read the whitepaper.
bak then the only thing that held me back was the massive supply. but now i'm convinced with the derivative market, and banking and shipment, link will get a good share of global GDP

Early 2018. All my holdings were tanking but I was scared to jump ship. Kept seeing Link threads but was so focused on BTC, ETH, and NEO that I just ignored them. A buddy sort of took notice and told me about it so I started doing research. It was shortly after that I went all in. Half of me tells me I'm retarded because I always get blinders and get to attached to my investments (and it has mostly worked but I may have also been lucky), but the other half tells me we'll all make it because of how important this is

uhh, you know what chainlink does i'm not going to remind you. BTC was the first mover that made people look into crypto. ETH made ICO possible and made it first into the professional world.

but now we know, and I am convinced, banks and huge corps, unfortunately will not use BTC.

I didn't start buying link till maybe March 2018?

I was just too lazy to read about the different coins on biz, so many seemed like a coin would be shilled and then if I had bought I'd have soon lost my money.

After buying 450k from $0.62 down to about $.30 with everything I had including half my 401k, I found link and fomod in with 33% of my jnt stack and as much fiat as I could for a while.

Just actually decided to spend time reading about that blue cube I saw so many bizarre meme threads about.

In one of the threads, among the memes and the weird furders, there was someone who actually thought it was a legit project. So I read the white paper and it seemed like it would be good, but I didn't really understand the scope of the hidden partnerships etc.

January I bought LINK, it was actually the second whitepaper I read (first was Bitcoin). The memes were funny, but I didn't fully believe in LINK until I fudded the shit out of every point I could think of to destroy it, and lost every time. Some of my FUD made it to the team though kek, and I like to think it helped them develop the project. I quintupled my position in June.
