The worst part about it not being a meme is when you try to describe it to anyone, giving piles and piles of information, graphics, use cases, partnerships, etc. and they don't listen because they think Bitcoin is over and never going to have any real world implications. "Blockchain is just a pyramid scheme, doesn't have any real value."

Imagine thinking fiat is the only thing with value, rather that is has value at all.

I didnt get into link because of biz, biz showed me the way, but then made my own research, also it was weird that chainlink started by being FUDDED in here. it wasnt shilled back in dec-jan, i remember people spewing on it all the time. was intriging to see people be so passionate about link. that's what made me look into it, and read the whitepaper.

After buying 450k from $0.62 down to about $.30 with everything I had including half my 401k, I found link and fomod in with 33% of my jnt stack and as much fiat as I could for a while.

Just actually decided to spend time reading about that blue cube I saw so many bizarre meme threads about.

In one of the threads, among the memes and the weird furders, there was someone who actually thought it was a legit project. So I read the white paper and it seemed like it would be good, but I didn't really understand the scope of the hidden partnerships etc.

Decemberfag here. The first project that brought me into crypto was actually NXT. I bought it before the IGNIS airdrop and it changed to Ardor.

January I bought LINK, it was actually the second whitepaper I read (first was Bitcoin). The memes were funny, but I didn't fully believe in LINK until I fudded the shit out of every point I could think of to destroy it, and lost every time. Some of my FUD made it to the team though kek, and I like to think it helped them develop the project. I quintupled my position in June.

So on a sick day from work I printed out the whitepaper and read it a couple times. I thought it was a meme but it bounced back in the bear market. Then I realised that it's one of the legit projects that actually has an active GitHub unlike so many hyped projects without any commits.

Found out about biz in January. Became a marine in February. Completely all in since June 23k LINKs.

It wasn’t clear they were working or if Sergey was just on his newly funded world vacation. They hadn’t hired any developers, or at least told anyone about it. There was the two man team meme. Sentiment was abysmal. Anyone around at that time who knew for sure it wasnt a meme was either an insider or completely deluded, myself included
