In order for the oracle network to be used LINK marketcap needs to reach about top 15. so thats around $5 minimum. The value of link needs to stabalize here for smartcontracts to use them. So, look for the team to make Chainlink a household name in the coming months with the help of all its partners.

Remember, LINK is used as collateral value to the smartcontract value using it. from there, you'll understand.
