The vast majority of them, unless they have a verifiable high income source (great job and/or running a successful business), are in huge amounts of debt.

The women you see traveling around/buying expensive shit constantly are either in huge debt or whore themselves out. Usually it's a mix of both.

The whole sugar baby industry is pretty fucking huge right now all over the world.

Sometimes it is actually happy content while a lot of people post just only happy times.

Those happy time only people are, at least on a subconscious level, competing to keep up appearances AKA "keeping up with the Joneses".

Then there are those who post happy and semi-sad/sad posts related to mental illness.

Lastly, there are those whose posts are 90% anger.

I still keep my Facebook account around, but use it less often. Makes me chiller. When I check, I look for posts that I am tagged in or a few select posts from friends.

My friends who have completely cut social media out have informed they are happier... Even know a few that cut out most of the Internet.

Then problem with being hyper connected is that our brains focus on worrying about what we are missing out on rather than what we are doing.
