Kek you only get into the union if you know somebody, can take years for normal people if at all, but they never tell you that do they?

I saw this shit happen every single year at the plumbers union I worked for

They had to lay people off every year because the union demanded more money. The ironic thing is that the union dues went up every year too.

The hilarious thing is that these dumb cucks never put two and two together and realized the union was the one fucking everyone

I will never hire anyone that is an union. I make them a political test before hiring them. Commie scum are never called back. Time to go to that food stamps, kiddos.

How about I'm in a closed shop union, and the only way into the union is to be hired by my employer.

So everyone who gets hired by my company? HR hires, before they get accepted by the union they have to not be a shit stain. Don't get into the union in time your fired. So basically you have to be qualified, get hired, and not suck at your job. If you can do this your in.

ooops I mean all unions operate exactly the same way and its literally hitler.

I would tell you that most of management is in the union as well but I wouldn't want to destabilize your safespace world view.

A free association of people interacting with the market to attempt to negotiate for their interests? Sounds good, so long as they don't act like gangs. Unions are as Ancap as they come though, in the ideal form. The idea that the only form of organisation permissible is the for-profit corporation is rediculous. Mutuals, Co-ops, unions, family associations AND corporations - anything is fine so long as it's voluntary to interact with and doesn't use violence or the threat of violence to compel anyone.

>> No.11466629

>>11466337
Unions are backed by the government, you brainlet. In reality there's nothing ancap about them.

My union chapter is fucking gay and fraternizes with the company.

We work 6 days a week mandatory, benefits are weak, the union does fuck all about the glaring saftey issues. Some of the supervisors butter up the union reps with coffee and food in the morning and they let shit slide. Management steps all over our union and the literal boomers do fucking nothing about it because they've been there for 20+ years and they dont want to see anything happen to their pensions or pay. Which everyone is overpaid for what they do.

Unions can lick my nuts, based on experience.

>> No.11466739

a union is made of its members, so you have a union full of shitty people.

A company is made up of its employees, so you work for a shitty company.

union or no union, you know how to fix this (leave)

I'm trying.

I cant just up and quit. Even with my saftey net.

It'll take some serious convincing now to tell me unions are a benefit in the 21st century.

>> No.11466811

Not every union is the same, just like not every company is the same.

Fact is in the 21st century almost every organization sucks. It really only has so much to do with unions.

Unions were a collectivist bandaid for workers to protect themselves before the government stepped in to handle it for them with it's own legal bandaids.
One day they need to be sloughed, otherwise the infection they are perpetuating will kill society.
