This thread is about why gold is better than crypto

>> No.11457553

>Gold is physical crypto isn't
If you buy Gold you can actually hold it in your Hand or you have a paper from for example a bank that says you own that and that amount of Gold, you have something physical.

If you buy Crypto, it's just some bits and bytes on a storage,
if the storage has a power cut or gets broken, you have no access to your money or even worse it's permanently gone.

>Gold is actually useful
Gold was used over 6000 years ago and is still used today
Gold is used...
for dentistry, in electronics, for buildings,
for medicals, as a conductor, for jewelry,
in Aerospace, for furniture, just as investment etc.

Meanwhile, the only reason to buy crypto is to give it to someone else or to expect it to up in price

>Gold is limited Crypto isn't
It's a scientific fact that there is a limited amount of Gold on our earth.
This means one day there will be no Gold left to mine.

Some say Crypto is limited too
because for example there is an total amount of only 20.000.000 Bitcoins.
Yea and that's true, there is a limit to how many coins a Cryptocurrency has,
problem is, there is no limit to how many different Cryptocurrencies are out there.
So you can have a 10.000.000.000 coin limit but an endless amount of different Cryptocurrencies, which makes the coin limit useless as a tool of limitation.
Also, the only reason why a Cryptocurrency is limited in the first place is because the creator of the currency artificially made it that way and not because it has a natural limitation like gold has.

All this shows that Crypto is clearly NOT limited and therefore a worthless investment.

>Gold can be traded everywhere
Just type in „Gold“ on Google maps in your city and you will find a big amount of shops, businesses, companies and other stuff all headed around gold, where you can buy, sell or do whatsoever with gold. Whereas you do the same thing with bitcoin you find in comparison near to nothing or nothing.
Even people in the most undeveloped parts of the world know what gold is and can give you something for exchange.

Meanwhile, half the world has no internet and has IQ of less than 89
Most of these people will never know what Crypto is let alone understand how it works but many of these people understand what gold is and know how gold „works“.

>"but you can't get rich fast by trading gold"
inform yourself about leverages.
If you for example had invested 1.000$ in barrick gold in september with an x50 leverage you would already have 19.500$

back to the bronze age faggot

If I have $1,000,000 how much of my wealth would you say should be physical gold? What about silver? Platinum and palladium also seem to be traded. Are they a meme or not? Opinion on coins vs bars?

>> No.11457668

>>11457650
i know from some famous stock market investors who are more negative towards gold than anyone else and even they hold 10-15%

so i would say 10% is the absolute minimum

if you want to make money i would suggest to invest 20% in barrick gold with an 5x to 10x leverage

look up

Gold is the measure against which the US government will have to debase the US dollar in order to be able to keep the belief of the US being able to pay off its debt alive. For this the gold reserve of the US will have to be worth several trillion USD.
Since the US does not hold crypto as a strategic reserve it will have no obligation to make sure crypto rises in terms of dollars.

the price of the USD actually has clear rules and is backed by one of the most powerfull states in the world, you printed paper money at home doesn't and also bitcoin doesn't

Both gold and crypto stand as bulwarks against (((fractional reserve fiat))). You're a divide-and-conquer faggot.
