It's speculation, but here's my logic: The market is completely irrational, TA does no good if people running the algos start to panic. If this shit does not rally in one hour, people ARE going to panic. The third week of October is historically a horrific month for financial markets, and with the Italy, Saudi, and China situations ready to kill everything on one hand, and a super uncertain election here in the US on the other, people are super antsy. Oh man. I just had the opportunity to do a dick move on a small cap low liquidity warrant trade. Price was hovering right around my break even point, while common shares were showing some weakness.
