Lads I unironically joined the Skyfleet.

Problem is - what is now stopping someone downloading CP and using me as an exit node so I get vanned and anally penetrated by a large black chap in prison?

You do the same thing as if you were running a tor exit node
You dont
But if you insist, men and black will come and you tell them you run an exit node

There's a configuration that won't make you an exit node.

if you can get their publc key on the network, you should be able to block their node from talking to yours. i imagine in the future someone will have a list of all of these bad nodes and create a feature to auto unsubscribe to all those nodes

This is SOOOOO stupid.

Why are they trying to build their own network infrastructure?

WTF is this shit even.

Are you people all retarded?

you built one after the kidnapping fiasco and mining rewards went down? you're crazy anon. to address your concerns, you can easily impose dns restrictions. i'll tell you how but only if you promise to enclose those boards -- this rig + your carpet is causing me tremendous anxiety. https://github.com/skycoin/skywire/wiki/Change-DNS-of-official-images

Decentralizing the internet.

Basically no more ISP's people get coins for acting as an ISP.

It's not rocket science, DYOR before shitting on something you don't understand. Its certainly not anywhere near practicality but its closer than any other competition by a decade.

I'll be watching you from Mars in 20 years.

These silly billies are mad that Obelisk hasn't been released yet. It will release after the mainnet for Skywire is finished. You know, the primary thing that consensus will validate.

Where have you been for the last ten years? The US government basically has a microphone up your ass and monitors everything you do.

Those of us not willing to be cucked by corporations selling our daily GPS location data and the government keeping metadata of how many messages we send to New Zealand are building shit that matters.

There are exit nodes to the legacy internet.

This is a full internet platform in the making. The single board computers are servers and routers. Rather than using youtube, it'll make more sense to watch videos on a comparable video service on Skywire. Or you can pay a little extra in coinhours to request the old youtube site.

They cut and pasted the parts they could out of the skycoin whitepaper and added hippie jargon, then made an ERC20 token.

Software Defined Networking is the weak point that Elastos, IOTA, Holo, and the other ten competitors in this space have in common. It's expensive to do and the moment any of them gain any real level of adoption, ISPs will throttle them or start charging for 'pro' protocol access to operate them.
