I'm holding most of my net worth in savings accounts because I'm scared most assets will be dumping hard soon. Thoughts?

Do you (at the very least) have a background in finance and have spent thousands of hours studying macro? If not, what makes you think that you are smart enough to determine that the risk of a recession/correction isn't properly priced into current equity/bond valuations? Do you realize that millions of people devote their entire lives to studying asset valuation and hundreds of billions are spent on research every year?
