Happened me before. Double interview on Thursday morning and evening. Said they would push everything through by Friday evening as they were in a rush to get me in. Took till the following Friday evening.

Sometimes all the approvals etc take a while.

Doesn't matter what they say, u gotta do the most important part of the interview process, "The Follow-up"

Call or email them. Let them know you enjoyed the interview and perhaps reiterate one or two quick, key points about why you would love to have the job in a way that would allow you to use your skills to benefit them. Then politely ask "what are the next steps"

And then they'll feel obligated to give you an answer.

If you get a "no", thank them. Ask them for any feedback you can use to improve your self. Then let them know you hope to work with them in the future.

well idk about gibs desu, I'd rather have my skills tied up into something employable than to be reliant on the society I despise so much. Neither option is great, but I prefer the one where I can at least advance myself, and i shit does hit the fan have a way out. If guvment says less gibs or only gibs if you put in shit hours at shit job they will place you in (where you literally cannot get fired from), you're not in a good position.
