Bakkt barely makes a difference with the Custody Product coinbase launched couple months ago. Its literally the reason why the CB executive left CB to go to Bakkt. There he will be work on that which CB shut down because of no demand. Bakkt is confirmed to be a small project with only small amount of people. The bakkt website is up for weeks now although they stated the demand is very little. And they only will serve a couple of people from the beginning.

bakkt will have the same effect on the overall crypto market like the consensus this year.

Custody solutions are alrready out there. It's Teeka and Novogratz selling hopium saying that we haven't seen the institutional fomo yet because they don't want to use coinbase and are waiting for established companies, well here it comes, bakkt (Nyse/ICE), if this doesn't work it's unironically over. We would have to enter some hyperinflation or other financial collapse for people to actually wake up and think of btc as a long term store of value instead of just thinking if they'll be able to dump it at a profit next month
