Just get the fuck out of stocks and shitcoins you faggots while you still have some money left. The market is going to implode

>crypto is money
Let's examine that claim.

There are 4 functions of money that it has to fulfill in order to be technically money. These are;
>Reliable store of value
>Medium of exchange
>Measure of value (things can be priced in it)
>Standard of deferred payment (people will lend it/accept being owed it)

Crypto fulfils one of those max: Medium of exchange. It does not reliably store value as the price fluctuates too much, and it is completely susceptible to government takeover (banning exchanges from your ISP etc). They don't have to make it impossible to use, just difficult enough that 80% of people won't bother to try.

It can't be used as a measure of value as the core 'value' of crypto is wasted energy, plus pure speculation. It has no inherent value, like other fiat, but unlike other fiat it is not backed by any strong government or economy to support the money illusion.

Crypto cannot be lent or borrowed, as sending it to someone is anonymous nobody would ever be stupid enough to send crypto and expect to get it back.

Most crypto is not money. The idea that there will ever be a currency without a state or inherent physical value to back it up is pure fantasy.

When the price of silver rises enough, because there is more of it in the ground, mining production will increase. Copper is more pronounced in this effect than silver.

The same thing happens with gold, however because there is far less gold in the ground, the price of gold can rise higher and it will still not be profitable for mining production to increase.

We want people trading currency to be productive, not mining it out of the ground in an attempt to make money, devaluing what savers have set aside.

>States will scramble to adopt it to remain relevant.

This is pure fantasy. A state has to control its own money supply. So if they can't control BTC and it gets out of their control, they'll shut it down. If they can control and tax it, it loses the only apparent value (secrecy) it had the first place. And there are other coins they would replace it with.

You need to understand you're not selling anything of value. Random numbers are not valuable just because they're speshul and sekrit. The very nature of BTC makes it a threat to the power structures of the world, so it's almost guaranteed to be opposed, controlled or destroyed. Even if it isn't, why should anyone bother taking the risk? There are things much more valuable that I could buy. Like silver, gold, land.

Learn the difference between value and speculation.

Speculating is buying something thinking the price will go up and with the aim to sell it at a higher price. Shorting is also speculating.

Investing is buying something because you want it, because it's valuable to you somehow, e.g. shares in a good company because you'll get paid dividends, but equally investing could be in books to get better at things, or in a degree so you get paid more in the future.

Risk is completely different. Risk is simply how likely something is to get worse/hurt you financially. You can have low-risk speculation. I speculate in physical silver, this is low risk because it is unlikely silver will lose much more value and it will never become worthless.

Investing is buying something because you want it. Speculating is buying something because you want to sell it. And risk is how much whatever you buy would hurt you in a worst case scenario. Stability is how likely that worst case scenario is to happen.
