I watched how people in high school responded to the recession at the time. It was a big nothing burger. Everyone was buying cars and expensive ass iphones using their parents money. Also we never got out of the recession. The numbers that were produced in Obama and Trump's tenure is fake as hell. The shadow stats proves it. The US has not had good economic numbers since 2005 and it also explains why economic productivity is still low despite not being in the recession anymore.
