Tech is irrelevant to price and there's no reason to buy a coin for it now, because nobody else is doing that. It's all just gambling now.

Ark may have some hope coming up and I hold regular discussions with the lead dev, but I don't really browse biz anymore. I make a small amount that I sell off to cover the costs of running a delegate. If I didn't sell it the delegate wouldn't exist because ARK's price is at the point where it's barely over break even. There is a running joke in our community that every time I sell the price goes up. But to clearly answer your question - yes. I hold a little bit but not much. I am hoping that changes in the next few weeks but that depends on the progression of Ark's technology.

Their progress on v2 has been insanely slow. I get it is not really linear and that V2 will take more work than the other modules, but their percetnage tracker has gone up by 19% since fucking March. Are they actually going to hit these targets? The communication from the team has been such shit and their whole 'slow and steady, ark has no dates' bullshit approach clearly doesn't fucking work. They need to be hitting consistent small milestones or else everyone just forgets about the project. This is why I dumped all my ark a long time ago but am still very interested in the project from a tech viewpoint

Their percentage tracker is a meme. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, look for a lot more tech to come out in the next few months because of the new devs. v2 wallet is actually already out and public but is in beta. You can download it right now from the github I think; I haven't checked it out yet. v2 core architecture is completely built out but it's not perfect yet so not ready for release. Ark Pay is probably vaporware. They hired someone to work on the whitepaper so that should actually be coming. Sentiment has been very bad last few weeks so the next few weeks we'll see if the team was serious with their attempts to fix things. I'm on the fence right now but am going to wait and see, holding very little ARK until I see results.

I haven't actually shared this anywhere else yet but Ark has technically had functional multisig since day one, it's just that there was no official library support and nobody used it because of a few bugs. Me and my private biz team have fixed the bugs and they're live on mainnet, and it's pretty usable now; I spent yesterday writing a library to create and manage these types of wallets; it's in a functional state now and ready to be used:

Although Ark has trouble with a few guys, they still develop, react to community feedback and pump out great products. Yeh theyre slow at times, but theyve hired to speed things up, must have hired at least 10+ GOOD devs (that we know about there are more) brought in community managers & shilled to the right people. FX was in talks with the French gov. last week, the team attended Singapore consensus & also created a major league hacking partnership - where Ark will run workshops on developing blockchains.

Arkies are more autistic than most crypto communities, there are more community devs, less talk and a general undertone of apathy mixed with criticism that stems from being spoilt rotten by awesome products, but also from the communities collective personality.

Travis isn't terrible in person; cool guy and fun to chat with. He gives off a totally different impression online, but he has cooled his jets as of late and is more personable. He doesn't really run the project, and he's a community manager type person for ARK. I think given that he's not a dev and has relaxed a lot compared to his attitude before, he's fine in my book. Might not be a popular opinion, but it's not like he's the lead dev or CTO/CEO.
