There are only two possible versions of why Trump is Prez:

1) Russia is attacking the US, the Cold War never ended. This one is highly likely considering how many other Russian attacks have been identified in recent years. They are trying to cause dissent and division and knew Trump would be most likely to do that.

2) Extreme leftists planted him because they knew the pendulum would have to swing as wide in the other direction since he’d cause such a visceral reaction. The doldrums of America get to cheer him on a little and feel rewarded in spite of their idiocy, and when we snap back the majority of America gets true progression.

For me theory 1 is most likely. There is no world where Trump is actually the choice of the American people. The fact that there are people dumb enough to think that in this thread is proof of such.

The formula is that you either ally with the press to get genuine support (immunity from scandals, free coverage of your issues, all of Hollywood, etc) or you bait them into constant negative coverage (scandal immunity via oversaturation, free coverage by making your messages horrific to the media but positive for your base).

Ok first off, you know that he has done nothing to change Europe's course with immigration right? He has convinced no one. He is a laughing stock. If you think stopping Europe from getting BLACKed is #1 priority then Trump has failed at that and made it significantly more difficult for any other right wing leader to convince Europe to change course in the future. Second, influence on Europe extends far beyond the troops they supply. The fact that you are an uneducated dipshit when it comes to even basic things like positioning our military bases to have force projection across the middle east is a reflection of the fact that previous presidents have actually understood or had knowledgeable advisers about foreign affairs. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/10/02/us/politics/donald-trump-tax-schemes-fred-trump.html

President Trump participated in dubious tax schemes during the 1990s, including instances of outright fraud, that greatly increased the fortune he received from his parents, an investigation by The New York Times has found.

Mr. Trump won the presidency proclaiming himself a self-made billionaire, and he has long insisted that his father, the legendary New York City builder Fred C. Trump, provided almost no financial help.

But The Times’s investigation, based on a vast trove of confidential tax returns and financial records, reveals that Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, starting when he was a toddler and continuing to this day.

nobody's ever "due" for anything, the economy is the sum of the choices of the people participating in it. he and congress cut taxes hugely at the end of that cycle and left the US government with no ammunition to stimulate the economy since interest rates were already too low to cut, in the event of a recession. he and congress are also gutting regulations and putting banks back at the baccarat table, because nobody in charge remembers or wants to remember anything that happened ten years ago.

the US population is addicted to short-term thinking and the people who are supposed to make the hard decisions are being paid by the rich to open the vault for looting.

i don't really give a shit about moral arguments, or whether or not people deserve to have certain tax rates or deserve to get certain entitlements. bottom line is, how the fuck is the US going to finance its debt and maintain a strong economy? there is no plan for this anymore. there is NOBODY at the wheel. everybody bitched about the obama debt load for 8 years, republicans took power in a clean sweep, and then immediately made the whole fucking thing worse.

There is more deregulation that is possible at the bottom ends of society also I feel, and lets be honest no matter how libertarian you are its obvious banks should be last to get de-regs. > Religions that treats all outsiders like they are not really people with souls are totally not immoral. All you have to do is ignore that part of the book and its all cool.

>It doesn't matter that I'm Russian and that I'm trying to influence the electoral process of the United States

>Feelings are more important than facts, reality is fake news

>Yeah you right, no point in arguing with people who have beliefs that aren't grounded in reality or empirical evidence.

Oh one more question before I give my proper response. There is a word called principles. Have you ever read the definition of what principle is? I need to know this because it tugs at the thread of the entire debate.

Like if you think sexism is bad on principle then you would not be happy to see sexism done to anyone. But if you lack principles and you are thus not a moral person then sexism only matters based on situational things.

Do you value principles at all? Is that a word that sits well with your belief system? Is expecting people to be principled only something devil worshiping communist Russian double agent Nazis use as a gas lighting technique?

>> No.11300821

>>11300802
>>Feelings are more important than facts, reality is fake news

I need you to take something I said and extrapolate on how that point was not based on facts. For example Religion causes fairly extreme tribalism does it not?

You see as a principled person, hurting people is bad no matter what. But for someone like yourself you think that hurting people is ok provided its for good reasons.

Correct?

Yeah, gunned down by some stupid fucking robber that probably didn't intend on killing the guy, robber got spooked and decided to run off instead of taking risks to say around the crime scene longer to get the wallet and shit he wanted from Rich in the first place. In this case, I didn't get a straight answer, only doging my question. Rather than say "I believe in principles" the debate shifted to deflection. "Oh well you also lack principles!"

This is the kind of person who thinks murdering Seth Rich would be a logical step to protecting Hillary if it was necessary.
