that's not how it works in small-cap biotech stocks, moon missions happen when companies get bought out no matter what the price is before that happens
GALT's research in NASH and cancer has shown very promising results, and they have solid financials for a biotech company, which gives them sound fundamentals as far as small biotech companies go
additionally, their management is being incentivized to complete a buyout by the end of the year, and they've hired strategic advisors to help them find a buyer
big pharma has good reason to be interested in this company, Gilead has been looking to expand into NASH, and GD-MR-02 (GALT's drug) would be a good way to give them an edge in a significant section of that market (NASH cirrhosis), and GD-MR-02 has also shown very good results when used in combination with Keytruda (owned by Merck)

if you're looking to swing trade, NBEV and IGC would like be better options
if you're looking for a longer term position trade, I think GALT's fundamentals are more solid and that there's significant potential for a buyout in the future
